Birthday blessings

Today Angel received a card with $50.00 check inside from her Grandma Irma. She was so excited, she opened the card, saw the check and grabbed it and ran around yelling,"I got money". It is so funny how before now money would have never fazed her, but now she is old enought to grasp the concept of money. Her birthday is coming up on Moday, Dec. 4th, and we are having a party for her on Saturday, Dec. 2nd at the church.

She is getting excited about her dance recital next Thursday, Dec. 7th at 7pm at the Legacy Center. It will be her first performance ever. I can't believe how fast she is growing up.

Today was also another very cold day. I took Alfred to work this morning at 7am and it was 0 degrees outside. It is now 12:45pm and only is 18 degrees.

Snow Time

What a surprise to wake up this morning to 6-8 inches of snow. It was about 15 degrees, Sarah got out there right away to build her snowboard ramp. She stayed outside the longest, about 2 - 3 hours. Gabriel and Adrian wanted to go out, but only for a little bit. It was too cold. Gabriel said shaking "Grandma, I soooo cold." Adrian liked it until he fell down and touched the snow with his mittens, and started to cry. I am so glad we had snow clothes for them thanks to Jen, Shannon's friend. Megan, Angel and Kyle did not stay out long enought for me to get a picture. Maybe later. Sissy lala's. It is now 21 degrees outside. We love it. We hope alot more snow comes.

THANKS

Our family has been so blessed by my family. The Lord knows everything, and we never need to worry. I am learning that every day. When something happens, Pray. Instead of worrying, Pray. God has been so good to us. I want to thank my family, Shannon and Cory, you are both amazing and loving people, thanks. Jill and Tyler , thanks for caring and loving us, and my mom & Joe and my dad & Madge, thanks for being great parents. I want to thank Alfred's mom and dad for always praying for us, their help through everything, and for their amazing son that they never stopped praying for to be saved. We love you all and are so thankful. God bless you.

Thanksgiving

Happy Late Thanksgiving.
We had a nice, small thanksgiving for once. We celebrated with our pastor, his wife and an elderly women, Louise, from our church, this year. Even Shadow enjoyed it.

We sure missed and thought about the rest of my family, who has been on our family thanksgiving cruise. Sounds like they had a fun time.

I am thankful for our savior who died on the cross for me. My God who created this wonderful, beautiful world. My pastor and his wife, thank you for making us your family. For my husband and children, and yes even my grandchildren.
I am thankful for the people who are protecting this country. I am thankful for my mom's, dad's, brothers and sister's. I am so thankful for my brother's and sister's in Christ. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Gabriel

Tonight we went rock climbing at the Quarry. It was Kyle, Angel, Gabriel and Alfred's first time. Megan and Sarah had done it before and I was not about to attempt to even try, plus I had to deal with Adrian. Kyle had no fear and wanted to keep on going on all the other ones. Gabriel loved it, but wasn't quite sure how to do it. Angel had so much fun going up, but when it was time to get down, she just hung on to the rope and hit her head a couple times on the little rocks coming down. Crying a little bit as she was coming down, and when she got on the ground said, "I want to do that again". We had a hard time getting her to wait her turn.

Future NFL Quarterback

Kyle is home for the next two weeks. He is getting tall and so cute. He has been playing football in the Oak Grove Pop Warner league for 3 years, but has been playing on a team for 5 years. This was his first year playing quarterback, and he is loving it. He threw two touchdown passes and ran 1 in by himself. Go Kyle. He also played running back and once a tight end. He made MVP (most valuable player) two years in a row. Like I said before he will be a future Broncos Quarterback. (although he is a 49er fan) But I am mom and I know what is best.

New things

These grandkids of ours are growing up so fast. Adrian (14 months old) is talking alot more. Megan taught him to say um cheese and yeah adrian. He says of course mama, dada, ew, uh-oh, no, but those other ones are so cute. He finally has another tooth, that makes 3. Gabriel used to talk like a robot, not so much anymore. He is so cute when he wakes up he says "good morning, how are you buddy." cause that is what we say to him. Adrian learned to walk about three weeks ago and now is trying to run everywhere.

Alfred lost his job, and is looking for a new one. We know God has it all under control, so we will wait and see what he has for us.

Angel knows all

I was going to Mindy's today and Angel said she wanted to go with me, cause Aunt Mindy was going to give her stuff. Well I hadn't heard anything from Mindy about that, so I just said Ok, but don't plan on getting anything. She said you will see mom. We get to Mindy's and of course she took us up stairs to Charlee's room and started going through Charlie's clothes, Angel was so excited. On the way home she says to me "see I told you mom aunt Mindy always gives me things I want". She wanted try everything on in the car and I told her she had to wait till we got home. She just replied "you're going too slow, hurry up". Thanks Mindy.

Well Sarah came home this afternoon and decided she would like to move to Aunt Shannons. Thanks alot Shannon. JK. She had so much fun, and said she couldn't believe how much hayes and olivia talk, and how hayes wanted her to hold him or his hand all the time. Thanks Shannon for given her that opportunity to get to know you and your family better. Megan's next.

Today, the girls and I along with the grandkids had planned to go to Mindy's condo for a little getaway, and well it did not work out as planned. We got there but we could not get the heat to work. You have to have heat this time of year in Utah. So we drove home.

Please keep us in your prayers. Sarah, sweet little Sarah didn't even want to be with us this weekend. She said she needed to get away from the Chaos. So she got to have a little getaway to Aunt Shannon's. Lucky her.

Hallelujah night

Sarah & Kristi in the bounce house. Wake up Sarah

She is never aloud to wear make up or dress like this for real. What a knock out.

Hallelujah Night

Last night our church had our Hallelujah party. We don't celebrate Halloween. All the kids still get to dress up, but instead of trick or treating we had different booths, were they were bible oriented games and fun, and they still got alot of candy. Megan was dressed as Homecoming Queen, Sarah did not dress up she helped with the booths and Kids, Angel & Dezirae were cheerleaders, Gabriel was a pumpkin and Adrian was a cow.

Additions to the Davilas

Most of you know that two months ago our two grandson, Gabriel (2) and Andrian (1) came to live with us. Well we have another addition to Davila's. There big sister Dezirae (3) came to live with us 3 weeks ago.We now have 6 children in the house and when Kyle and Tj come back it will be 8 Children. We are still Sane, praise the Lord. Please keep us in your prayers. God Bless .
